Thanks to the support of our sponsors, One Cool Earth will be giving away 1600 free plants during 2011. Plants include a variety of drought tolerant, native, and/or edible plants. Offer limited to one plant per person, plants available on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last. You must mention this offer or present a gift certificate to receive your free plant. You can pick up your free plant at our nursery by contacting Greg (at) onecoolearth (dot) org or calling (760) 382-5164. Stay tuned for upcoming events where plants will be available.
All plants are grown by students through environmental education programs where students receive job skills training, high school credits, and run the nursery as a student enterprise. The bulk of our plants are grown at Liberty Continuation High School’s GreenWorks Plant Nursery. Stay tuned for more events, including open houses at our nurseries throughout San Luis Obispo County!
