To the director of the Native Plant Nursery,

I think this program sounds incredible. I have grown trees my entire life and currently closing my Bareroot nursery. I believe that students should be encouraged to learn more about there environment. I hope that this program is a huge success. If it is of interest to the program, I would like to donate fruit tree rootstocks to the program. I have a few thousand to donate. On this Mariana rootstock, you may graft most plums,apricots,almonds, and some nectarines and peaches. Let me know if I can Help.

The cork oaks are dropping acorns in front of the SLO County library and all along California Blvd. near the Hwy Patrol headquarters!

Hi,

I just received information from Parks and Rec regarding Garden matchmaking.
I have registered, but I wonder if you are still doing the potlucks.

If you are, I wondered if you ever ask people to label their contributions because I would love to come to a potluck, but have very severe lactose intolerance.

We planted at least 100 acorns today at Whale Rock Reservoir. Lionel Johnston was a wealth of informative discourse and Logan Budd identified so many trees and acorns. It was a good time of restoration outside.

Wow! Thank you to all of you who attended the planting event at Avila Hot Springs. We are so grateful to Lionel and Chris and Greg and the rest of you who came out and toiled in the hardpacked soil that morning. What a joy this park will be for future generations to come…the Redwoods, Oaks and Catalina Cherries are going to look so amazing as they begin to fill in , grow up and shelter. It was very gratifying to see your excellent volunteers give of their time and energies. Thank you so much! Hi Greg,

I’m hoping our matchmaking is coming along. Looking forward to someone who lives over in our part of town wanting to have some good soil to grow in.

I can’t find the listing. The address is 348 N. Tassajara. Can you correct the description to something like: near Cal Poly, and the intersection of Santa Rosa and Highland?

This is much more accurate than near Bishop Peak or, as you had it, “Mount Bishop,” which might be confused with a street on the other side of town.
